Loughton Bowls Club Community Day
Loughton Bowls Club held a Community Fundraising Day in support of the British Heart Foundation at the Bowls Club on Saturday 13th September 2025
Other than members of the Club, only one father and his 2 children attended the event from the local community.
Thanks to Josh Parsons and Katerina Kamper from the British Heart Foundation for coming along, having a go at our target bowls, giving a talk about the BHF’s research work and a demonstration of CPR.
£158 was raised from a raffle held on the day plus some additional cash donations.

Other donations received from local businesses will be put into our raffle at the Club’s Annual Presentation Lunch being held in October and a share of the proceeds passed on the BHF.
Thanks also go to Shaw’s Butchers from Chingford who cooked sausage and bacon rolls for those attending the event.
